This page explains what information Softly Said (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

On this website

When you download the free guide or buy a guide

Downloads and payments are handled by Gumroad. Gumroad collects your email address and, for paid products, your payment details. We never see your card number. We receive your email address and the details of what you downloaded or bought, so that we can deliver the guide and answer you.

Emails

We use your email address to send your download, receipts, and a short follow-up about the guide you chose, which may mention our other guides. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us to stop them. If you write to us, we use your message and address only to reply.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. It is processed by the services we use to run the shop: Gumroad (downloads, payments, emails), Cloudflare (hosting), Google (fonts, and the Gmail mailbox where we receive your messages). These providers may process data in the United States and in other countries.

Children

Our guides are written for parents and caregivers. This site is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase and email records for as long as needed to deliver your guide, answer questions and meet our legal and accounting duties, then we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can leave our email list at any time. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within a reasonable time. Where privacy laws such as those of California or the European Union give you specific rights, we honor them.

Changes

If we change this page, we update the date above.
